Mhathma Gandhiji,called Mahathma is the father of the Indian Nation was Born on 2nd October 1869 at Porbander in Gujarath.As the son of Diwan Karamchanth and His wife 'Putilibai .Since child Marriage was prevalent at that time, Gandhi Married in 1883 at the age of 14,He married Kasthurba.He passed Matriculation in 1887 and proceeded to England to stady Law.in 1893,He went to Southafrica along with His wife to practice Law,He fight against His subjucted to Radical discrimination and organized Natal India Congress in 1894.There He started a Weekly 'Indian opinion' 1904.Gandhiji Experimented the Weapon Sathyagraha for the first time in Sebtember 1906 to protest against the Asiatic ordinance issued against the Indian in transval.Gandhiji's first imprisonment was in 1908 at Johannseberg in South africa.in 1899 during the boer war Gandhiji organized Indian ambulance corpsBritish for the .Gandhiji was humailiated and ousted from Peter Merits Burg Railway Station in South Africa.Gandhiji started the Tolstoy farm(South africa) in 1910.Gandhiji started the Phonix settlement in durban.He returned to India on 9th January 1915,Leaving South africa for ever.Januvary 9th is observed as 'Pravasi Bharathiya Divas' to commemorate this,Gandhiji's first Sathyagraha in India was for the right of Indigo workers in Champaran in 1917.Gandhiji's first fast was in 1918 inconnection with the strike of Mill Works in Ahamedabad,and in 1918 organized proanized protect Rallies against the Rowlat act on all Indian baisis.
He started the Sathyagrahasram on the banks of Sabarmathi River in Ahamedabad.in 1918 he strted two Weeklies, Young India in English and Navajeevan in Gujarathi.Gandhiji abandoned his title 'Kaiser-I-Hind' in protes against the Jalian Walabagh Massacer1919 in .in 1920 He put forwared the proposal of the Independence of Indian known as 'Swaraj' and started the Non-Corporation movement on auges 1, 1920.1922 He was brought under trail and sentenced to Six year rigorous imprisonment.during that time He wrote two Books-the story of 'My Experiment with Truth' and the serch for Truth'the Autobiography.in 1930 He participated in the salt Sathyagraha and in 1931 agust attended the Second Round Table Conference in London,with the Aim1932 of eradicating Untouchability.Gandhiji founded the all Indian Harijan samaj in .Gandhiji started His Journey for Harijan uplitment from the Wardha Ashram in Maharashtra.Gandhiji called Low Class Peole as Harijan which meance 'Son of God' .He started the Weekly Harijan in 1933.Gandhiji-Irwan Pact was signed on 5 March 1931.Gandhiji called the Temple entry proclamation as a wonder of the modern age.Gandhiji called Subhash Chandra Bose as 'Patriot'.
